Classical Pentecostalism against the new: interreligious discrimination in chilean protestantism

Abstract

The present article deepes into the perception that followers of the Iglesia Evangelica Pentecostal, representatives of the traditional chilean pentecostalism, against the arrival and expansion of new pentecostal churches that we denominate "neo-pentecostal". In general, the classic pentecostals identify these new groups with churches whom had been target of documentaries and investigations linked with criminal involvement, reproducing discrimination stereotypes which merge with their cosmovision of right and wrong.
