Eliseo Verón is a high-profile intellectual of his generation, alongside authors such as Bourdieu, Eco and Martin Barbero, among others, and an obligatory reference in the area of social sciences in Latinomérica. Make a major overhaul of the landing of semiotics in Chile, not without difficulties, reflecting on his epistemic status.
