SEMANTIC CONFIGURATIONS OF YOUTH IN THE DIVISIVENESS OF ARGENTINIAN HIGH SCHOOLS

Authors

Abstract

The interpretation of conflicts happening within the school daily life is correlated with the way it is approached and the suggested solutions. We referenced the notion of semantic configurations developed by Didier Fassin (2016) to relate it to the interpretation of high school students from Argentina on three different types of conflicts: alcohol consumption, escraches (public denunciation) against peer bullying and anonymous reports on social media. The different ways of conceptualizing problems will be linked to the consequences and solutions proposed to solve them.
